In 1966, John and George used theirs on the Beatles' last live tour, which ended at Candlestick Park in San Francisco on August 29, 1966. The first Beatle to own an Epiphone Casino was Paul McCartney, who bought one in 1962, which he used to play lead guitar on 'Ticket to Ride', 'Drive My Car', 'Taxman', and 'Helter Skelter'. This reissue of John Lennon's 1965 Epiphone Casino is the sanded down version. So for the inquisitive, I decided to do this monthly feature. He knows so much about guitars, with details way beyond my comprehension.

I have to thank my incredible guirar consultant, Matt 'Guitar Man' Zinsky I buy no guitar without his review and approval first. Many have asked me about my guitar collection which, if I say so myself, is quite impressive and historic.
